How to Use the Calculator
Tap the keys or type on your keyboard. The result is previewed in grey as you type; press = or Enter to confirm it and add it to the history. Tap a result in the history to keep calculating with it.
- Keyboard: digits, + − * / ^ % ( ); Enter calculates, Backspace deletes, Esc clears.
- Order of operations: multiplication and division come before addition: 2 + 3 × 4 = 14. Use brackets to add first: (2 + 3) × 4 = 20.
- Scientific mode: tick "Scientific" for sin, cos, tan, ln, log, √, powers and factorials. Angles are in degrees by default; tap DEG to switch to radians.
How the Percent Key Works
The % key works like a phone calculator: 200 + 10% = 220 (adds 10% of 200), 200 − 10% = 180 and 50 × 10% = 5. It is handy for tips, discounts and sales tax.

How do I calculate a percentage on a calculator?
Type the number, choose the operation, type the percentage and press %. For example 200 + 10 % gives 220, which is 200 plus 10 percent. 50 × 10 % gives 5, which is 10 percent of 50.
How do I open the scientific calculator?
Tick the "Scientific" box under the keys. Keys for sin, cos, tan, ln, log, square root, powers, factorial, π and e appear. Your choice is remembered in your browser.
Is the calculator in degrees or radians?
Degrees by default, so sin(30) = 0.5. Tap the DEG button in the top left of the display to switch to radians (RAD).
